This document sets out our policy on the gathering and use of information on this site and our other sites (collectively “Sites”).

​Mytravelplanit.com (the “Site”), operated solely by Endeavour Coaching and Consulting Inc. (“we” or “us”), respects your concerns about privacy and values our relationship with you. This privacy policy is intended to describe for you, as an individual who is a user of the Site or the services offered by the Site (the “Services), the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, how it is protected and what choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.

We are committed to providing safe Sites for visitors of all ages and have implemented this policy to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy. We comply with the Canadian Federal and Provincial privacy laws and regulations including the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act.

​Although you are not required to register to access our Sites, you may be asked to provide us with personal information when you visit certain sections of our Sites. Your use of our Sites signifies your acknowledgement and consent to our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Sites signifies your acceptance of these terms and any changes in effect at the time of use.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using the Services. By accessing the Services, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, fully accept, and will abide by this Privacy Policy.

​1.Information Collected

​In order to create a personal travel plan you must be a Member and create a Travel Persona. During registration, you will be asked to provide certain information (such as name and email address). At your option, you may also provide additional profile information about yourself and complete a Travel Persona, but it is not required.

​We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. When you interact with our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name and email address.

​We collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); comments, blogs, feedback, recommendations, and personal profile.  In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information.

​We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

​You can freely update your personal information, including username, email, password, and all profile details at any time. It is vital that you keep your password safe to prevent unauthorized access to your personal information. If you believe it has been compromised, please change it immediately.

2. Use of Cookies

​A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive to help us recognize your computer. We use persistent cookies in order to keep you logged in to the site after you close your browser. We therefore recommend logging out of the site on shared computers after use. Cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. We also use cookies related to third-party services for Google analytics and mapping software. You can disable cookies by turning them off in your browser settings; however, some areas of the Sites may not function properly if you do so.

3.Storage and Usage of Information

​Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to provide our products and services to you. Your data may be stored in the Wix.com data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

We may internally use your information to improve our services, analyze site usage, optimize content, etc. This will only be conducted by authorized employees. Information gathered on our Sites may be used to aggregate for research and development relating to our Sites and/or for future site development, and, if you ask us to, to send you materials.

​In particular, we may use information gathered about you for the following purposes:

  • to monitor interest in our services and to assist us to tailor content of our Sites to your needs by collecting information about your preferences through tracking of page views on our Sites;
  • to create a profile relating to you in order to show you the content that might be of interest to you and to display the content according to your preferences; and in circumstances where you have indicated you wish to receive additional information,

​We also may use personally identifiable information to troubleshoot problems, implement our terms and conditions and to comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

4. Updating or Deleting Your Information

​If you would like to permanently delete your account, please select the Contact Us link located at the bottom of any page and complete the form. A customer support representative will confirm your request and delete your account.  Deletion will permanently remove your account, including profile information, travel plans you may have created, and all other data stored in our database. Support enquiries may be stored on file.

5. Links

This Site contains links to external websites operated by third parties. Please be aware these third ­party websites are governed by their own privacy policies. We cannot be responsible for their policies. You must check any linked sites for the privacy policy that applies to that site and/or make any necessary inquiries in respect of that privacy policy with the operator of the linked site. Links to third party websites are provided as a convenience and are for informational purposes only. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for the privacy practices of linked websites.

6. Communications

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, service-related emails, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Our approach to communications is to obtain your express consent to receive electronic messages to ensure we are compliant with Canadian anti-spam legislation (CASL).

​For any marketing emails, you may opt out (unsubscribe) from any or all mailings sent by Mytravelplanit. To opt-out, please follow the instructions in the email you receive.

7. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information of our Members, except as described herein. We may disclose personally identifiable information about you if we are required to do so by law or pursuant to legal process, or in order to respond to a request from law enforcement authorities or other government officials. We also reserve the right to transfer any personally identifiable information we have about you in the event that we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets.

8. Security

Our technical teams do their utmost to ensure the security of our systems. Internet security is a complex topic and no system can be considered 100% secure. Should a security breach occur we would endeavor to react quickly to remedy the problem. However, we cannot assume responsibility for Member details compromised in the unlikely event of a security breach. Please exercise caution when determining what personally identifiable information you disclose via the Site.

9. Changes to Our Policy

​If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, these changes will be posted to our Privacy Policy page. You should review this page regularly for updates.

This website is owned and operated by mytravelplanet.com. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors an opportunity to explore both public pages and to become a member to share travel information with our community. By accessing or using the website, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

​In order to use our website and/or receive our services, you must be at least eighteen years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mytravelplanit.com assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

Preference of law and dispute resolution

These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of Ontario, Canada without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Toronto, Ontario. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.

Community Forum and your Public Profile

All users that join our community have a public profile that is publicly visible to site visitors, and that their public activity (such as their posts or comments) will be visible to other visitors of the website. As a user of the website you can opt-out and exit the community, and upon doing so, your profile will not be publicly visible.
